Medirnyk (Honey Cake)(International: Ukraine) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. honey
1/2 c. butter
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. sour cream
4 egg yolks
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins

Preparation

Bring honey just to a boil.
Cool.
Cream together brown sugar and butter.
Slowly beat in egg yolks, then honey.
