Thumbprints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. margarine
    2 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 slightly beaten egg whites
    1/3 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. finely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Whip cream until stiff; sweeten to taste or leave unsweetened. Put through a pastry tube and make rosettes on a piece of wax paper the size of a cookie sheet.
    Put in freezer overnight until hard.
