Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 sq. (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
1/3 c. milk
3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1 large egg, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except vanilla in a 4-cup glass measure.
Blend well.
Place in microwave oven.
Cook on High 1 1/2 minutes.
Pause and stir until blended.
Cook again on half power 1 1/2 minutes.
Blend in vanilla.
Briskly stir with wire whisk until clear and shiny.
Refrigerate until cool.
Sauce will thicken as it stands.
Serve over ice cream, chocolate cake, fruit or dip pound cake or fruit.
Makes 1 cup.
