Paradise Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (soft)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
    1 1/4 c. cooked, mashed pumpkin
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    dash of salt
    maple-flavored syrup
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until creamy.
    Add 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add egg; beat until smooth.
    Pour into pastry shell.
    Chill at least 2 hours.
