White Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. flour
6 egg whites
1/2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Beat egg whites.
Add flour, soda, baking powder and buttermilk to sugar mixture.
Mix well and add flavoring.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes until done.
