Crescent Chicken Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
    2 c. cooked chicken
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. chives or onion
    3/4 c. seasoned croutons, crumbled
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
    1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter until smooth.
    Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, onion and pimiento and mix well.
    Separate dough into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.
    Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture into center of each rectangle.
    Pull 4 corners to top center; twist and seal.
    Brush top with 1 tablespoon butter.
    Dip in crouton crumbs. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes 4.
