Zegediner Gulasch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. pork, cubed about 1/2 to 3/4-inch
    4 to 5 big onions, chopped
    2 soft apples, cubed
    2 lb. sauerkraut, drained
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    some pepper
    3 to 4 beef bouillon cubes
    2 bay leaves
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
Preparation
    Roast onion in Crisco until light brown.
    Sprinkle paprika over onion.
    Add water and cubed meat; cover and let cook about 1/2 hour.
    Then add sauerkraut, apples, bouillon cubes, bay leaves and enough water to cover sauerkraut; salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 2 hours.
    Mix sour cream with flour and a little water to smooth; add to sauerkraut mix.
    Let simmer a couple more minutes.
