Ingredients

1 can beets, drained
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Mix sugar and flour.
Add water and vinegar.
Cook on medium heat until thick (about 10 minutes).
Add salt, butter and then beets.
Cover and continue cooking, about 10 minutes.
