Holiday Cranberry Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. fresh cranberries
    1/3 c. prepared mincemeat
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, combine water and sugar.
    Heat to boiling over medium heat.
    Add cranberries.
    Reduce heat; cook until skin pops.
    Remove from heat.
    Let cool to room temperature, then add the rest of ingredients and chill.
