Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    4 c. apples, peeled and diced
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Beat in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
