Vanilla Wafer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine
    6 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream margarine.
    Gradually add sugar; cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Beat well after each addition. Alternately fold in crumbs and milk.
    Stir in nuts and coconut. Batter may appear curdled.
    Spoon into 9-inch tube pan which has been greased, floured and lined on bottom with waxed paper. Evenly spread batter in pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
    Cool cake in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan and remove wax paper.
    Finish cooling on rack.
    Frost or glaze as desired.
