Canned Bean Soup (From Dry Beans) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. dry Great Northern beans, sorted and washed or 1 1/3 c. dry navy beans
    1 tsp. salt
    ham or bacon (optional)
Preparation
    In pot, put beans, salt and fill with water.
    Ham or bacon can be added as desired.
    Process in canner for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
