Six Day Stew(Bachelors Survival Food) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. stew meat, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 pkg. Wylers (or other brand) beef stew starter
1 (15 oz.) can sliced white potatoes (use liquid)
1 (15 oz.) can whole new potatoes (use liquid)
1 (15 oz.) can baby carrots (use liquid)
1 lb. whole button mushrooms (fresh)
1 beef bouillon cube
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. red wine
Preparation

Braise stew beef in a 4 or 5-quart pot until well browned. Add canned vegetables with liquid.
Add stew starter.
Stir well!!!
Add mushrooms, bouillon cube, Worcestershire sauce and wine.
Add water, salt and/or spices to taste.
Simmer slowly for 8 to 10 hours, stirring occasionally.
Let cool to room temperature.
Place covered pot in refrigerator for at least 24 hours to let flavors blend.
Place one serving in bowl and microwave until hot.
Enjoy!!!!!!
Will last for six days until gone, then you can make another pot.
