Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 onion, chopped
    3 or 4 bell peppers, chopped (about 2 c.)
    1 c. thinly sliced celery
    2 beef bouillon cubes, dissolved in 2 c. hot water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    rice
Preparation
    Cut steak in 1/4-inch slivers.
    Brown in skillet with small amount oil, salt and pepper.
    Add bouillon cubes, water and onion. Cover and let simmer 30 to 45 minutes.
    (If it cooks dry, add more water.)
    Add celery and bell pepper.
    Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
    Blend and add cornstarch, water and soy sauce.
    Cook until it thickens.
    Serve over hot rice.
