Orange Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. sour milk
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. ground raisins and peeling of 1 orange

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Combine ground raisins and orange peel with sour milk. Alternate milk with combined dry ingredients.
Bake in well-greased loaf pan approximately 45 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
