Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. oil or melted shortening
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
Preparation

Combine all ingredients and mix until just blended.
Do not overmix.
Pour into greased 9 x 11-inch pan.
Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
