Good Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    1 stick butter
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. sifted self rising flour
    2 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
    1 1/4 c. milk
    3 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour tube pan.
    Cream Crisco and butter together; add sugar and cream.
    Add eggs 1 at a time.
    Sift flours together twice; add vanilla to milk; add flour and milk a little at a time, starting and ending with flour.
    Mix well; pour into pan and bake 1 hour until done; test with toothpick.
