Asparagus Cheese Appetizer - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf white bread, crusts removed
1 (5 oz.) jar pasteurized Blue cheese spread
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can asparagus tips, drained
1/2 c. lightly salted butter
Preparation

Roll each slice of
bread
flat
with
a
rolling
pin. Spread each slice with about 1 teaspoon of cheese spread.\tPut an asparagus tip along one edge and roll up bread with asparagus inside.
Cut
each bread roll into thirds crosswise.
Melt butter in a
small
saucepan
over
moderately high heat.\tDip each bread-asparagus roll in the melted butter and place, seam side down, on
a
baking
sheet.
Cover\tand refrigerate for 1 hour. Heat oven to
375\u00b0.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Turn and bake for 3 minutes
longer
until
crisp
and brown.
Transfer to a platter and serve immediately.
