Praline-Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb. 1 oz.) Mrs. Smith's frozen deep-dish apple pie
    1/2 stick (1/4 c.) butter
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/3 c. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. powdered sugar
    3/4 c. chopped pecans, toasted
Preparation
    In 2-quart saucepan, bring butter, brown sugar and whipping cream to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Whisk in vanilla and powdered sugar until smooth. Pour this praline mixture slowly over pie, spreading to fluted edges. Sprinkle with the toasted pecans.
