Ingredients

1 can small whole beets
1 can pineapple tidbits
1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Drain juice from beets and pineapple.
Reserve half of each. Heat beet juice and vinegar in saucepan.
Mix cornstarch with cold pineapple juice.
Add cornstarch mixture to saucepan containing hot liquids.
Stir and heat until mixture thickens.
Add pineapple tidbits and beets.
Simmer until heated through.
Yield:
5 servings.
