Peanut Butter Crunchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. peanut butter (plain or crunchy)
    6 c. corn flakes
Preparation
    Mix syrup and sugar; bring to a boil.
    Do not boil longer than 1 minute.
    Take off heat; stir in peanut butter and pour over corn flakes.
    Drop by spoonful onto wax paper; flatten with a spoon. Nuts may be added to mixture, if desired.
    Yields about 40 cookies.
