Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 pie shell
    3 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. butter
    5 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    1/2 c. cold water
    5 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Mix starch in water.
    In double boiler, blend sugar and salt. Add remainder of water.
    When well mixed, stir over boiling water 10 minutes.
    Pour mixture slowly over beaten egg yolks, stirring all the time.
    Return to cook 2 minutes longer.
    Remove from heat and add butter, lemon juice and lemon rind.
    Mix well.
    Cool. Pour into pie shell. Top with meringue and bake until brown.
