Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 can fruit cocktail
    1 can chunk pineapple
    nuts (if preferred)
Preparation
    Drain fruit real good.
    Add enough water to juice to make 2 cups liquid.
    Put in saucepan and let come to boil.
    Pour over Jell-O.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add cream cheese and whip until fluffy.
    Put in refrigerator until thick.
    When thickened, fold in fruit and Cool Whip.
