Corn Pone Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 large can Ranch Style beans
    1 large can tomatoes
    2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    cornbread batter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown meat well.
    Add onion and green pepper and cook until limp; drain the grease from pan.
    Add beans with juice, tomatoes with juice and spices.
    Simmer while you mix the cornbread batter.
    Adjust the seasoning and pour into a large pan.
    Cover with thin layer of cornbread batter.
    (If you have more batter than needed to cover, bake in separate pan.)
    Bake until cornbread is done.
