Pumpkin Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 can pumpkin (or approximately 3 cups packed)
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, eggs, pumpkin and vanilla.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
    Pour into a greased 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
    Frost with Cream Cheese Icing.
