Cheerios Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. Cheerios
Preparation
    In a large skillet heat sugar and butter.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Reduce heat to medium and continue stirring until mixture becomes light brown and thick, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove skillet from heat and stir in Cheerios until well coated. Turn onto an ungreased baking sheet.
    Spread to 1/4-inch thick. Cool and break into pieces.
    Keep in refrigerator.
