Corn Meal Fried Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium size potatoes
    1 c. corn meal
    pepper to taste
    1 large onion
    salt to taste
    Crisco (to fry)
Preparation
    Peel and cut potatoes French fry style. Cut onions in small pieces. Salt and pepper to taste. Put potatoes and onion in a large bowl. Pour in the corn meal and stir with hands until potatoes and onions are covered. Place Crisco into skillet until hot. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
