Breakfast Bar - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. margarine, soft
    2 c. quick oats
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and press into greased 9 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cut into squares while warm. Mixture will harden as it cools.
    Sometimes I add chocolate chips, coconut, peanut butter chips or all.
    Makes it good and chewy.
