Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
5 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. water
1/4 c. lemon juice
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
Add water, butter and lemon juice.
Beat egg yolks.
Add to mixture.
Mix well.
Cook in heavy saucepan over medium heat.
Pour into cooked pie shell. Save egg whites for meringue.
