Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. cornflakes
    1/2 c. butter, melted
Preparation
    Mix potatoes and 1 stick of butter; set aside.
    Mix sour cream, soup, onion, cheese, salt and pepper together.
    Add to potatoes.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish.
    Cover with topping (cornflakes and butter).
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
