Creamy Crock-Pot Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sliced potatoes
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    4 slices American cheese
    1 c. water
    1 small onion, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Toss potato slices in 1 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar.
    Drain and put half of potatoes in greased crock-pot.
    Top with half the onion slices, flour, salt and pepper.
    Add remaining sliced potatoes and onions.
    Sprinkle with remaining flour, salt and pepper.
    Add butter and undiluted soup.
