Peach Custard Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. whole milk
    1 c. evaporated milk
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. plain flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 qt. mashed peaches
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald both milks.
    Beat eggs; combine with half of the sugar. Mix flour and salt with remainder of sugar.
    Blend all with hot milk; cook until it thickens.
    Add mashed peaches and vanilla; freeze.
    Makes 1 1/2 gallons.
