Cheap Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. raisins
2 c. water
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water, dissolve 1 Tbsp. soda in water
1 c. melted shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and cloves

Preparation

Cook raisins in 2 cups water for 15 minutes.
Cool.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven about 1 hour.
