Summer Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 tsp. basil
    2 carrots, sliced
    2 tomatoes, peeled and cubed
    2 (12 oz.) cans roast beef with gravy
    2 cans sliced, cooked potatoes
Preparation
    Combine the first 6 ingredients and cook about 10 minutes. Add the last 2 ingredients and heat thoroughly.
