Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed pretzels
1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
1/2 c. sugar
chopped pecans (if desired)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
2 c. pineapple juice
10 oz. frozen strawberries
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 envelope Dream Whip, prepared as pkg. directions
Preparation

Mix pretzels, melted margarine and 1/2 cup sugar.
Press in 10 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and Dream Whip.
Spread over cooled crust.
Dissolve Jell-O in pineapple juice.
Add defrosted strawberries and juice in separate bowl.
Let stand until partially set, then pour over cream cheese and chill.
If desired, chopped pecans can be added to pretzel crust.
