Wild Rice Hot Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
    1/4 lb. bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. wild rice, washed
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. cashews or water chestnuts (optional)
Preparation
    In skillet, saute the beef or turkey, bacon, celery and onion for 10 minutes.
    Drain off excess fat.
    Add rice, soups, mushrooms, milk and optional ingredients.
    Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
