Midwest Barbecue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. roast (chuck or arm)
    32 oz. bottle catsup
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 bay leaves
    2 large onions
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    dash of liquid smoke
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Pour on top of roast in a large roasting pan.
    Cover tightly. Roast at 350\u00b0 for 3 to 4 hours.
