Black-Eyed Pea Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. oil
1 onion, chopped
2 chopped jalapenos
1 c. cooked and drained black-eyed peas
1/2 lb. grated cheese
3/4 c. whole corn, drained
1 lb. hot sausage
Preparation

Mix first 7 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Add the other ingredients and pour into large oblong greased casserole dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
