Cornish Hens And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 Cornish hens (I also use chicken pieces)
    1 1/4 c. raw rice (a mix is good)
    1 c. or can chicken broth
    1 can mushroom soup
    dry onion soup mix
    extra mushrooms can be added
Preparation
    Place raw rice in greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Cover with chicken broth.
    Cut hens in half (or the chicken pieces).
    Shake in the dry onion soup mix and lay on rice mixture.
    Pour 1 can mushroom soup mixed with 1 cup hot water over the chicken.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour uncovered, 1 hour covered, 10 more minutes uncovered.
