"Blondie" Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 Tbsp. milk
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan with butter flavor Crisco.
Set aside.
Combine butter flavor Crisco and milk in large saucepan.
Place on low heat until butter flavor Crisco melts.
Remove from heat.
Stir in brown sugar.
Add egg.
Stir until well blended.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir into sugar mixture.
Stir in vanilla and nuts.
Spread evenly into baking pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 27 to 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean.
Cool in pan.
Cut into 2 x 2-inch squares.
Makes 16 squares.
