Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    nutmeg (if desired)
Preparation
    Heat milk over boiling water.
    Beat eggs; add salt and sugar. Gradually add milk to egg mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in pan at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes, or until knife comes out clean.
