Persimmon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 c. chopped nuts
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. soda (add last)
1/4 c. warm water (add last)
Preparation

Mix in order given.
Add 1 teaspoon soda
mixed in 1/4 cup warm water.
Bake in tube pan for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
