Almond Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. whole milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. almond extract
    2 eggs
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. long grain rice, washed and drained
Preparation
    In large saucepot warm milk with salt.
    Add rice; stir constantly, approximately 50 minutes.
    Add 1/4 cup evaporated milk and raisins.
    Stir until bubbly and the rice is no longer \"spiny.\" In the meantime mix the remainder of evaporated milk, eggs, sugar and almond extract in a bowl, take 1 cup of rice and mix into egg mixture.
    Add mixture to rice.
    Cook again until bubbly.
    Let cool; add 1 more cup of whole milk.
    Refrigerate overnight, stir and add more milk to desired consistency.
