Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 16 oz. can pears, drained
    1 small pkg. lemon jello
    1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. Kool Whip
    walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat one cup of the drained pear juice to boiling, add the jello, stirring until it is dissolved.
    Stir in the softened cream cheese,
    Kool Whip and pears which have been mashed.
    Mix well.
    Stir in the walnuts.
    Refrigerate until gelled.
