Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    6 c. water
    6 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    4 c. uncooked egg noodles
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
    6 c. milk
    4 c. Velveeta or American cheese
Preparation
    Cook onions in butter.
    Add water, bouillon, salt, pepper and garlic powder and bring to a boil.
    Stir to dissolve bouillon. Gradually add noodles and cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
    Stir in broccoli and cook 4 minutes.
    Add milk and cheese and continue cooking until cheese is melted and soup is hot.
