Pepper Steak Stir-Fry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 lb. thin sandwich steak, cut in strips *
2 bunches green onions, cut in 1-inch pieces
3 green peppers, cut in strips
1 c. fresh mushrooms, cut in slices
1 1/2 c. Pace mild picante sauce (12 oz.)
1 c. water
1/3 c. soy sauce
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation

In a wok or skillet, saute steak and onions in vegetable oil until meat is well browned and onions are tender.
Add peppers and mushrooms; stir-fry 3 to 4 minutes until vegetables are tender. Combine remaining ingredients together in a bowl and add to beef and vegetable mixture.
Stir and cook until sauce thickens, about 2 to 3 more minutes.
Serve over rice or noodles.
