Mexican Corn Bread Casserole With Meat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. jalapeno pepper
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. cream-style corn
    1 pkg. corn bread mix
    2/3 c. milk
    4 slices cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Brown meat and drain.
    Add onion and pepper.
    Set this mixture aside.
    Combine eggs, milk and 1 cup corn with corn bread mix.
    Pour half the batter into a 9-inch greased pan.
    Top with mixture, cheese slices and the remaining cup of corn.
    Pour the rest of the batter on top.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
