Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 c. seedless raisins
    2 c. cold water
    1 c. Crisco
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook
    first 8 ingredients together for about 3 minutes. Let cool.
    Add\tsoda dissolved in 2 tablespoons of warm water. Stir in flour
    and baking powder. Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan at\t350\u00b0
    to 375\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
    Remove from Bundt pan to cool.
