Country Fried Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/4 tsp. leaf thyme, crushed
    1 c. sliced carrots
    4 pork chops (about 1 lb.)
    1/2 c. water
    1 onion, chopped up
Preparation
    In skillet, brown chops, mushrooms and onion.
    (Use a tablespoon of shortening if necessary.)
    Pour off fat.
    Stir in soup, water and thyme.
    Add carrots.
    Cover; cook over low heat 45 minutes or until tender.
    Stir now and then.
    Serve over noodles. Optional:
    Cut up pork pieces instead of pork chops.
