Chili Con Carne Or 10,000 Volt Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter or oil
    6 large onions, sliced
    3 lb. ground beef
    3 (20 oz.) cans tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    1 can beer
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco
    2 to 4 Tbsp. chili powder
    3 (20 oz.) cans kidney beans
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter until clear.
    Remove and brown meat. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, beer, salt, Tabasco and chili powder. Simmer 3/4 hour.
    Then add beans and onions.
    Serve over rice with French bread.
    Serves 12.
